Hotellerie de l'Abbaye-Ecole de Soreze
At the heart of the city, the Abbey School housed a monastic school, and a Royal Military Academy under Louis XVI. In the nineteenth century, under the direction of Father Lacordaire, the College of Sorèze gained international prestige, until its closure in 1991. Abbey School currently offers guided museum depicting 12 centuries of history.
Sorèze, city of character with its picturesque streets and houses cantilevers (sixteenth and seventeenth century), St. martin bell, a relic of the parish church destroyed during the wars of religion.
