Château de Werde
Quite unique in Alsace, 25 km to the south of Strasbourg, the castle of Werde's Counts is situated on the riverside, in a 3 ha enclosed park. This historic site dates back to the 12th century. Classed as a listed building, the castle was rebuilt in the 19th century and refurbished recently in a style faithful to its origin.
In the chateau, 8 elegant and charming rooms and suites combine ancient style and modern comfort : luxurious private bathrooms, television... The rooms are spacious and bright and look onto the park, the pond, the river or the surrounding meadows.
