Château Le Mas de Montet
Chateau Le Mas de Montet is a beautifully restored Renaissance-style château, where Président François Mitterrand was a regular guest. The privately owned Chateau offers charm, comfort and complete relaxation and is well appointed with period furnishings throughout. The Chateau has recently undergone an extensive programme of renovation to Four-star standard. The beautiful 15-metre swimming pool is open from April to October. And our award-winning chef was recently elected to the prestigious "Toques du Périgord" association of the top regional chefs. Château Le Mas de Montet is set in 130 acres of parkland and ancient woodland, bordered by the River Dronne. This is where the Périgord Vert region of the Dordogne meets the South Charente, a delightful blend of rolling hills, forest and waterways.
