Maison de Lamartine
This house built in 1705 by Lamartine's great great grandfather in the middle of a vast vineyard estate dating back to the 17th century.Lamartine spent a straightforward and happy family childhood hare. He inherited in 1830 but in 1860 was obliged to sell his home, the inspiration for some of his most beautiful poems : "Milly ou la terre natale" and "La vigne et la maison". The hous which is still part of a vineyard estate, has belonged to the Sornay family since 1861.
