Château de Longpra Visites culturelles

Guided tour of the chateau and free visit of the park, the garden and exhibitions.
For the groups : all the year on request.
For individuals : from 2 pm to 6 pm on sundays and free days from 1st May to 31st October. Open everyday from 1st July to 31st August from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Chateau : 7,50 Euros. Park and exhibitions : 6 Euros. Reduced tarif (young people from 6 years old and students) : 6 Euros. Free for children less than 6 years.
Group : 6 Euros/person.

Description :

Exhibitions : - 18thth century cabinet maker's tools. - Paintings and ceramic realised by Eugénie de Franclieu, famous woman artist of the Dauphiné (19th century).
In the revolutionary turmoil, the occupants of LONGPRA continued honouring the catholic tradition. The commode situated in the Chambre Rouge still conceals, in one of its secret drawers, the altar which was used for clandestine church services.
